New York State: Beyond NYC

Published by admin under Hotel and Travel

Whenever anyone thinks of visiting New York State, they usually think of NYC. If you are from New York State and are talking to someone who is not even from anywhere close to the area, especially those from foreign countries, they might not even be able to tell you what other cities exist in New York besides NYC. There are actually a ton of great things about New York State that are located in other cities besides NYC.

First and foremost, Albany is the state capital and is a hub for commerce. With all sorts of business taking place there, the city is always buzzing. Syracuse is home to the best athletics program for hours being a Division 1 school and a national championship contender in multiple sports year after year. Rochester is home to one of the most beautiful art districts in Upsate, Ny. Loaded with beautiful restaurants, parks, historic buildings, art galleries, festivals, clubs, recreational activities, multiple universities, young professionals and other enticing attributes; a stay in Rochester is complete when booking one of the many gorgeous Rochester NY Hotels such as The Brookwood Inn, located in historic Bushnell’s Basin, right near the village of Pittsford. Rochester Hotels like this one promise luxury and relaxation during your stay and can compete with the beautiful Shelton Hotels found in Connecticut.

Lastly, Buffalo, New York, is home to professional sports teams that draw large crowds that rival those found in most other big cities with professional sports teams. The fans are dedicated to their team, and the famous Chippewa Street is like the cold weather version of Duval Street in Key West, FL.
